The client had purchased licenses for Oracle Discoverer for meeting its analytical reporting needs. However, it could not leverage these licenses due to heavy dependence on the IT team which had severe bandwidth constraints. So, the client developed custom reports in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). However, when it upgraded Oracle EBS from 11i to R12, it lost those custom reports. In order to get its analytical reports, the client started looking for alternative BI tools in the market. However, it found them to be expensive from a license as well as implementation costs perspective. DiLytics positioned its proprietary solution which met the client’s needs.
