Executive Summary

Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) needed to consolidate data from multiple student information and special education systems to improve visibility into student performance, academic operations, and services provided to students with disabilities. The existing fragmented data environment limited the district’s ability to generate timely insights and support data-driven decision-making.

DiLytics implemented an enterprise student analytics platform leveraging Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and a centralized data warehouse. The solution integrated student and special education data, standardized business metrics, and delivered self-service reporting and analytics capabilities to users across the district.

The solution improved visibility into student outcomes, strengthened management of special education services, enabled self-service analytics, and established a scalable foundation for district-wide reporting and decision-making.

LAUSD, the second largest school district in the nation, serves over 600,000 students across 1000+ schools and relied on multiple disparate systems to manage student education programs. DiLytics implemented a scalable Oracle Analytics solution that consolidated millions of records into a centralized platform, enabling near real-time insights, self-service and comprehensive tracking of student and SWD data. The solution improved service management, empowered families with greater access to information and resources, and accelerated data-driven decision-making across the district.
